Lorraine D. Belostock, Esq.

Attorney Lorraine Belostock is a seasoned criminal defense attorney who is never hesitant to bring the most difficult cases to trial. She has a great courtroom presence that resonates with juries, and she’s achieved full acquittals in cases ranging from driving- related crimes to serious sex offenses.

Throughout her career, Attorney Belostock has represented clients across the country in state and federal courts, from serious Department of Justice (“DOJ”) pre-indictment investigations to arraignments, pretrial hearings, motions, and jury trials.

Upon graduating Boston University School of Law and passing the Massachusetts bar exam, Attorney Belostock worked as a criminal defense associate with Urbelis Law from 2014- 2018 under the direct guidance of Attorney Urbelis, cementing her career path to defend those up against the power of the government. She brought her services to her home state of New Jersey for a few years, where she represented clients charged with serious felonies, including manslaughter, murder, and domestic terrorism, while working for prestigious law firms in Newark, NJ and New York City. She eventually returned to Massachusetts as a criminal defense and government investigation associate at a large Tier 1 law firm, prior to rejoining Urbelis Law as a Senior Attorney/ Of Counsel. Attorney Belostock dedicates a large part of her practice to helping indigent defendants, as she’s certified to accept court- appointments from the state.

Attorney Belostock earned her law degree from Boston University School of Law, a top 30 law school in the country, and earned her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Rutgers University.

Attorney Belostock has also been recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine as a “Rising Star.”
